July 31, 2006: Mobilab Technologies inc. has filed a full U.S. Patent with the USPTO. The device entitled 'Protein-Coupled Bioelectric Solar Cell' is now patent pending and frequent updates on the status of the IP will be posted on this website. Mobilab Technologies inc. is currently seeking out investors to help finance the solar cell design and bring it to a commercial stage. July 27, 2006: Mobilab Technologies inc. has received further funding from the Carleton Foundry Program in order to file a patent on its solar cell design. In addition, the money will be used to further enhance the device prototype and bring it into a pre-commerical phase.
September 13, 2005: Mobilab Technologies inc. has partnered with the Carleton School of Industrial Design in constructing the initial prototype for their most current project. This partnership promises to keep the company's design and construction phases in full motion.
